Dream Chasers vs Goal Achievers
Are You a Wellness Entrepreneur Who is Chasing Dreams - or One Who Implements Micro-Actions?
Many 2nd career women dream of a late-life career in wellness. they become a health coach, a certificate in nutrition, a few more in mindset techniques and other very useful strategies.
They know they want clients, they want to serve others, they are ready, able and equipped to help.
Full of excitement and anticipation they have a website built and dabble with posting on social media
But then... things go wrong...
All they hear is ... crickets.
Sometimes they hire an expensive business coach, buy marketing courses of different kinds and flavors, and now a course in ChatGPT or similar.
So - since everything they do is out there, why is no-one standing in line working with them?
They try more strategies, networking, book writing, even a #1 bestselling author title, speaking on stages, even a TEDx talk, going on conferences in person, participating in online summits.
They are Dream-Chasers...
But dream chasing is futile, if it is not followed by implementation...
And to quote Gerry Daniel, COO, CAIS and Co-Founder of the AI Wellness Universe:
"Most Wellness Businesses Fail Due to Lack of Timely Implementation..."
How do we know? We've been there, we've done all this ourselves.
And we ended up with at best a few trickles of clients.
It just doesn't work this way.
If you feel that your marketing fails, you are not alone...
"Hey, not so fast" - I hear you say. maybe it's just you.
And, maybe it is, and maybe it is you, me or maybe it's just the world we live in.
Fast, fleeting, and if you are not loud and direct in your marketing, or spend a fortune on advertising and funnels, you get drowned by the big guys...
Is it Finally Your Time To Finally Get Your Marketing Done Right?
So, let's talk about what makes a dream chaser, and then how to morph into a successful wellness entrepreneur in 2025, yes, even in the time of AI...
Who is a Dream Chaser?
Dream chasers can mean simply people who dream. And dreams can become reality.
But if all you do is dream, don’t be upset when those dreams don’t come true.
Because you miss the "chasing" part. That means taking action.
A true dream chaser is someone who has the courage to follow their heart, taking step by step in the chosen direction, completing one micro-action after the other, accompanied by their belief that they can succeed in the path they took and the goals they have chosen.
Let me give you 7 tips for dream chasers that will help steer you to your dreams:
7 tips for dream chasers that will help get you to your dream goals faster and easier:
1. Accept disappointment and regret and learn from them.
Disappointment and regret are two highly negative feelings you may experience.
You may just want to push those feelings away, pretending that everything is fine. Bad mistake...
If you feel these, stop yourself, take a step back and think. Ask yourself:
- Why do you feel this way?
- What happened?
- Where did things go wrong?
- Who did I rely on (or who did I fail to involve) that resulted in the outcome that I dislike now.
- Is there anything I can do NOW and in my future to do better and avoid doing the same things that led to regret and disappointment again?
If there is nothing you can do better now and in the future, it's time to let go.
Some people may be able to just ignore those feelings, but most people can’t.
Here is a thought that may help you to not just keep dwelling on mistakes:
"Sometimes there are things in life that are just not meant to be."
2. Failure is just a part of life.
Even if you plan carefully, it’s hard to develop plans to deal with failure.
Dream chasers are usually optimistic, but you must also be realistic.
"You will most certainly Fail (face setbacks) on the way to achieving your dreams."
Your success in life depends on the ability to bounce back from failure.
Take the time you need to recover from failure, then process the feelings it brought up.
This can be especially hard when you work in a sales or marketing position, where lost sales can feel like a rejection of you, like a personal failure. There is a good book (it's a great read with many funny parts) to help overcome this. Check it out here: "Rejection-Proof".
Next, get back on the right track.
Think of your life like songs – they have high notes and low notes.
"when you put all the notes of Your Life together, you have beautiful music."
3. Be responsible for your actions.
It’s vital that you hold yourself accountable for your own life.
The choices you make today have consequences, not always the good ones you may have hoped for. Your choices today can result in trouble tomorrow and in your future - if you haven’t thought them through.
But of course, there are things that you cannot control, too.
Your experiences in youth, with family, school, and friends, all shape the way you think now.
Some of those memories will fade as time passes, but others won’t.
Being stressed out or making a poor decision does not mean that you’re weak.
They are parts of life that you must deal with and then move forward.

4. Don’t make your dreams all about money.
Money is important in whatever dream you chase, but it’s not the most important thing to pursue.
Before you begin chasing a dream, be sure that your plans include a career that pays well and lets you balance work and life.
Your career should also encourage learning and personal growth.
As a dream chaser, you must understand that money is important – but don’t make your dreams all about money. Your personal relationships are more important.
"Money is Important, but not everything. Prioritize great relationships over just making money."

If you have a tendency for negative self-talk, it could be a result of:
- Peer pressure in school
- Strict parents
- Competitive sports
- Demanding teachers/bosses
Being a constant critic of yourself is taxing to your well-being and mental health.
There are plenty of critics out there.
You need to exercise positive self-talk to keep your dreams on track.

6. Practice self-care.
This is a vital part of living as a dream chaser.
If you don’t take proper care of yourself, every tiny thing that doesn’t go your way can upset you.
And if you then feel irritable, you may take your irritability out on those around you.
That's not helpful and can destroy relationships over time.
The solution here is simple: prevention.
Make sure to take time for yourself and do the things that help you to feel good without damaging your health.
A walk alone or with a loved one in nature can work wonders.
Positive self-talk and self-care should be practiced before you’re worn out.

Examples on How to practice self care:

- Get plenty of sleep.
- Eat healthy meals.
- Go out in nature
- Have fun
7. Stay self-aware and happy as you chase your dreams.
Remaining happy as a dream-chaser sounds simple, but it’s not always so black and white.
The # 1 key to happiness is to appreciate the little things.
The ability to feel or to develop gratitude.
And then, you need to have purpose in your life, the feeling that you’re chasing dreams that are attainable.
Little things can make you happy, too.
They can be things you like to do, or just random happy experiences.
These make your life more interesting, and they will help you remain self-aware, as well.

Stay humble and accept failure and learn from it.
Continue to take at least small steps forward, to live in a better world than you might otherwise end up in.
And if you ever feel sad or stressed and need to recover your sparkle, here is how to do this.
